Wargrave started by dominating the first 20 minutes, and having a fair few opportunities, only to be met with Sandhursts solid defensive line.
McDonagh had a great chance which was initially saved by the Sandhurst keeper who kept them in the game, and Whiteaker who was in a great position for the rebound couldn't quite get her body behind it.

Sandhurst who'd now found their feet, took advantage of an unfortunate bobbling back pass which had Harrington rush off her line to deny the initial shot, but Sandhurst were quick to slot home the resulting flailing ball. Opening the score 1-0, 30 minutes in.

Blissett had a great one v one with Sandhursts keeper who's quick reactions parried the ball away from goal with her outstretched foot.

The crossbar saved Sandhursts bacon, diverting two similar powerful strikes from outside the box, one from Williams then Richardson shortly after.

Sandhursts goalkeeper released the ball after a comfortable save, only to surprisingly handle it again, giving Wargrave the chance to take advantage with a skillful quick indirect free kick from McDonagh for Blissett to blast into the corner, bagging her first goal of the season.
1-1 with just a minute left of the first half.

Wargrave knew they had to up their game, and start the second half strong, and Hawkes stepped up to the challenge after a great run through Sandhursts defence and her shot rocketing into the back of the net on the 50th minute.

Dodd had an awesome game trying a new position, using her speed to get back and make some critical blocks, and Harrington quick out as the sweeper keeper ensured Wargrave were playing mostly in Sandhursts half.

The remaining game was a great battle, some awesome through balls, and one two play between Cook, Richardson & Williams saw Wargrave continue to be on the front foot, but just couldn't find the target with any real threat.

Wargrave were relieved to hear the final whistle to end the game 2-1 and onto the next round.
